Osteosarcoma symptoms

  Osteosarcoma is the most common malignant bone tumor, mostly in adolescents, and its clinical manifestations mainly include the following points.  1. The main manifestation is local pain and lump. Osteosarcoma mostly occurs in the two ends of long bones of the limbs, and at this time, a mass is seen to form in the distal or proximal end of long bones. At the same time, because the tumor destroys bone cortex, periosteum and other tissues, it produces pain, characterized by nocturnal pain and resting pain.  2.Dysfunction. Because the tumor mostly grows at the two ends of long bones, near the joints of human body, it is easy to affect the mobility of joints and cause dysfunction.  3.Increased local surface skin temperature and angry veins. Tumor is a high metabolic tissue with rich blood vessels, so the surface of tumor may show elevated skin temperature and other manifestations.  4. Systemic symptoms. Osteosarcoma is a kind of malignant tumor, which is a consuming disease, and can show wasting, anemia, weakness and general exhaustion.  5.In addition, when osteosarcoma occurs metastasis in lung, brain, gastrointestinal tract and other parts, clinical manifestations of other systems may also appear, such as cough, coughing blood and shortness of breath when lung metastasis occurs.  The clinical manifestations of osteosarcoma are diverse, but mainly pain and masses and functional disorders are the main manifestations. Its diagnosis still needs further clarification by X-ray and nuclear magnetic examination.
