Condyloma acuminatum prevention and treatment

  Condyloma acuminatum (CA) is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection of human genital organs and nearby epidermis (vulva, vagina, cervix, perineum, penis, scrotum and urethral orifice). The drugs commonly used in clinical practice are interferon (INF), interleukin (IL-2), thymidine, and tumor vaccine.  Prevention The best way to deal with condyloma acuminatum is to prevent infection, especially during sexual intercourse. The best way to prevent the infection is to go to a regular hospital and receive regular treatment as soon as possible; circumcision can reduce the chance of virus infection.
