Three experimental cases of curing chloasma without any intention (No.2)

  Case 2: Spleen deficiency and damp heat in the lower jiao A female, 40 years old, from Shaoyang, Hunan Province, was first seen on September 9, 2010 due to menstrual disorders and uterine fibroids found on physical examination for 1 month.  The patient was found to have multiple uterine fibroids due to menstrual disorders on physical examination 1 month ago, the largest one being 3×62.5px, accompanied by irregular menstrual flow, about 20-40 days, with high volume each time, taking 7-12 days to clear, and dysmenorrhea with blood clots, leucorrhea with yellow color and fishy odor. Physical examination: T36.5℃, clear and cooperative, good general condition, full face with obvious chloasma, dull face. The tongue is light and fat, with tooth marks on the side, slightly yellow and thin moss, and string pulse. Considered to be uterine fibroids and pelvic inflammatory disease. The formula is as follows: Radix Codonopsis Pilosulae 15g, Atractylodes Macrocephala 15g, Poria Cocos 15g, Lotus Seeds 9g, Semen Coix 30g, Semen Coix 15g, Semen Coix 30g, Semen Aconite 15g, Phellodendron Bupleurum 15g, Semen Cyperus 15g, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis 6g, 1 dose/day, mixed twice with water, about 400ml, divided into two doses in the morning and evening.  On October 15, 2010, I took the medicine for more than 1 month, the symptoms of pelvic inflammation and chloasma disappeared, but there was no significant change of uterine fibroids on ultrasound. The drug was discontinued and menstruation basically returned to normal after several follow-up visits.
