The purpose of on-site first aid is to stop bleeding, reduce further contamination of the wound, prevent aggravated tissue damage and rapid transfer, and the first aid treatment of hand trauma includes hemostasis, wound dressing and local fixation. 1.Hemostasis Local pressure bandage is the easiest and effective method to stop bleeding in hand trauma, even if the ulnar or radial artery is injured, pressure bandage can generally achieve the purpose of hemostasis, and the bleeding of hand trauma is stopped by using wrist compression or rubber tube bandage, which blocks the venous reflux of the hand and cannot culturally block the arterial blood flow, so the bleeding of the hand will be more serious, so this method is wrong. A few large blood vessel injury caused by hemorrhage before using a tourniquet to stop bleeding, the application of balloon tourniquet bound upper 1/3 of the upper arm, dressing pads, record the time of rapid transit, pressure control at 33.3-40kPa (250-300mmHg) such as time more than 1 hour, should be relaxed for 5 – If the time exceeds 1 hour, the pressure should be relaxed for 5-10 minutes and then pressurized again to avoid ischemic contracture and necrosis of the limb together, relaxing the tourniquet should be pressurized at the injured site to reduce bleeding, and the rubber tube tourniquet tied to the upper arm is easy to cause radial nerve injury and should not be used. 2.Wound dressing Wound dressing with sterile dressing or clean cloth. Prevent further contamination of the wound, and do not apply drops or withdraw anti-inflammatory drugs from the wound. 3.Local fixation During the transfer process, regardless of whether the injured hand has obvious fractures, should be properly fixed to reduce the patient’s pain and avoid further aggravation of tissue damage, fixation equipment can be taken locally, according to local conditions, the use of wood, bamboo, cardboard, etc., the range of fixation should reach above the wrist joint.
