Complications of hand trauma generally have the following two major categories: 1. Sensory dysfunction: trauma caused by sensory nerve injury resulting in sensory dysfunction, symptoms include numbness of the fingers, etc.; 2. Motor dysfunction: caused by injury to muscles, bones and joints, the symptoms are mainly adhesions, deformities, defects, and flexion contracture of the joints. Flexion contracture is one of the common complications of hand trauma, which can be caused by the injury of joints and tendons, and also caused by various nerve injuries, which is manifested as the inability to innervate muscles.
