Raltegravir is a western drug that was once used against Ebola, but failed in clinical trials. In the current epidemic, it has been more prominent, as the first diagnosed patient of the new coronavirus in the U.S. received treatment and got a rapid remission, which showed a certain potential of anti-coronavirus, and the U.K. has recently reported that the British National Health System has begun to use this antiviral drug on some of the patients with the new coronavirus pneumonia. Currently, Ridgcivir is not yet available on the Chinese market, and is in the research and development stage. There is no clear data to confirm that it has better efficacy in the treatment of coronavirus, i.e., the drug is still in the experimental stage.
