Glioblastoma craniotomy

  The patient, a 40-year-old male, was admitted to the hospital with right frontal headache for 1 year.  The cranial MRI showed a large right frontal occupancy.  The lesion was resected by craniotomy and pathologically confirmed as glioblastoma.  The patient had no postoperative complications.  Postoperatively, 60 Gy of radiotherapy and temozolomide capsules were administered as synchronous and adjuvant chemotherapy.  He has now survived progression-free for 20 months.
