What causes acute appendicitis?

The causes are complex and are related to the following factors: 1, appendiceal lumen obstruction, retention of secretions, increased pressure in the lumen, and obstruction of blood flow in the appendiceal wall, which is conducive to the invasion of bacteria. 2.Bacterial infection Bacteria reach the appendix through the broken or damaged mucosa and blood circulation, causing acute inflammation. 3.Nervous reflex When the gastrointestinal tract is dysfunctional, it is often accompanied by radiation spasm of appendiceal muscles and blood vessels, and the appendiceal cavity becomes obstructed and blood transport is impaired, causing inflammation.
