Can albumin be given in the late stage of lung cancer?

Advanced lung cancer can be treated with albumin as appropriate, but not as regular treatment. The treatment of advanced lung cancer still needs to take regular comprehensive treatment, which includes chemotherapy, radiotherapy, molecular targeted therapy, immunotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine treatment. On the basis of comprehensive treatment, if the patient has severe hypoproteinemia due to poor nutritional status of malignant tumor consumption, in order to correct the hypoproteinemia, improve the colloid osmotic pressure of plasma and reduce the edema of tissues, human albumin can be applied as appropriate to improve some symptoms of the patient to some extent, such as edema, fluid accumulation and suffocation. If the patient does not have hypoproteinemia, excessive administration of albumin infusion may accelerate the growth of tumor to some extent.
