Cerebral infarction is a serious disabling disease, and active rehabilitation treatment can enable 90% of patients to regain the ability to walk and take care of themselves, and the earlier the rehabilitation treatment, the better the efficacy, so it is advocated that rehabilitation treatment can be started when the patient’s vital signs are stable, but there are still some precautions in the rehabilitation process of cerebral infarction patients. (1) Rehabilitation training should be of appropriate intensity, exercise in a moderate manner, correct posture, perseverance, and avoid excessive exercise. The contraction of the patient’s own muscles is conducive to reducing edema, and the patient can do some activities in the uplifted position of the affected limb, such as finger grasping activities, grasping sticks, wringing towels, etc.; passive activities should be gentle so as not to cause pain to the patient, and the patient can use the healthy limb to drive the affected limb to do uplifting exercises, and also do forearm rotation forward and backward, wrist flexion and extension activities, etc. within the scope of not causing pain. Patients should maintain proper posture and position. Except for rehabilitation training, patients should maintain proper position of the hemiplegic limb for the rest of the time: when lying down and lying on the affected side, the elbow joint should be extended and the wrist joint dorsiflexed; when lying on the healthy side, the shoulder joint should be flexed about 90°, the elbow joint should be extended, and the hand should hold a towel roll to keep the wrist joint dorsiflexed. (2) Actively control risk factors, such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, hyperhomocysteinemia, etc., review regularly, and follow medical advice to adhere to medication. (3) Change unhealthy lifestyles, quit smoking, limit alcohol, and actively control various risk factors. (4) Maintain a reasonable dietary structure, pay attention to reduce salt intake, reduce alcohol intake, and eat a reasonable diet, based on the principle of consuming foods that are low in fat and rich in high-quality protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and trace elements. Attention should be paid to nutritional diversity, and the diet should contain cereals, fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, poultry, eggs, fish, beans and soy products, milk, etc. Items that are contraindicated include: (1) blind medication and random drug discontinuation. Because cerebral infarction is prone to recurrence, medication should be taken according to medical advice, and should not be taken blindly or discontinued at will. (2) Overeating and excessive hunger, avoid long-term high-fat food, which can easily increase blood viscosity and thus increase the risk of recurrence of cerebral infarction. (3) Emotional excitement. Emotional excitement can easily trigger the onset of cerebral infarction, so patients with cerebral infarction should maintain a calm and optimistic mood in daily life, actively carry out the treatment and rehabilitation of the disease, avoid the stimulation of external factors, and maintain a healthy state of mind. In conclusion, there are many precautions in the rehabilitation process for patients with cerebral infarction, a reasonable lifestyle should be established, rehabilitation exercises should be carried out appropriately, and patients should review regularly and follow the medical advice to adhere to the medication.
