Survival rate of pleural metastases from lung adenocarcinoma

Pleural metastasis caused by lung adenocarcinoma is very common, and the survival rate is about 15%-30% in 5 years, also depends on the specific disease. The main clinical manifestation of pleural metastasis is large amount of pleural effusion, causing pleural fluid and difficulty in breathing, so the treatment of pleural fluid and pleural effusion can be carried out by intrathoracic perfusion. The main drugs for pleural infusion are cisplatin and bleomycin, which can reduce the pleural fluid through infusion chemotherapy, together with the systemic treatment for lung cancer.
