Can I keep the footsteps of my youth?

A man is not old as long as he is seeking something. A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams–J. Barrymore As long as a man is still A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams. A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams. –Although the subject of this quote is “man”, I have always thought it more appropriate for today’s “Chinese women”. Including my friends and family and many female patients, many people like to say, “I’m so old ……” as if age can be an excuse for everything. Unkempt, full of whining, cynical, pudgy, pot-bellied, everything makes sense because of age. A plastic surgeon should not interfere with the values and attitudes of his patients, but I often think that age, in fact, is often just a pretext for their laziness. Elegant and beautiful as Audrey Hepburn The first thing you need to do is to get a good idea of what you’re looking for. Age, really is not a problem. Knowing yourself well and taking yourself seriously is the more important issue. So, let’s start with recognizing our own facial aging. The real aging of the face is actually the result of a combination of many factors, not just the sagging of the upper eyelids or the growth of wrinkles on the forehead so simple. It starts much earlier than we think, often in our early 20s. There are two types of skin aging: natural aging (that is, the natural aging process of the body manifested in the skin) and photoaging (that is, the damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation on the skin). Skin aging is characterized by thinning, reduced elasticity, dryness, sagging, hyperpigmentation, and grayish skin tone. Gradual reduction of subcutaneous fat As we age, the face gradually loses its plump, rounded, youthful appearance, resulting in local flatness or even depression. Changes to the skin by the movement of facial expression muscles Expression muscles are special muscles that stop directly beneath the skin. Expressive movements of the face repeatedly fold the skin, creating dynamic wrinkles perpendicular to the direction of the muscle fiber travel. Young skin has a certain elasticity and tension, and when the expression muscle relaxes, the skin will recover quickly, making the wrinkles disappear. With the aging process of the skin, the elastic fibers in the dermis degenerate and break, the tension and elasticity of the skin decreases, and when the expression muscle relaxes, the skin does not recover quickly, and over time, wrinkles still exist when there is no change in facial expression, and they will get worse with the aging process. Sagging caused by reduced tissue elasticity and earth gravity As the body ages, the soft tissues of the face will gradually lose their elasticity and ability to resist tension, and the soft tissues of the face will sag under the effect of gravity. The volume of deep bone and cartilage tissues decreases Aging brings about resorption of bone tissue, and the pulling effect of gravity on soft tissues causes drooping or emptiness in the corresponding areas.
