The measures to deal with blockage after PICC placement are as follows: 1. In case of incomplete blockage, if the catheter is dislodged, twisted, or folded it should be given back in time, and if only poor infusion occurs, a syringe can be used to gently pump back and extract the clot from the tube as much as possible, and promptly flush the tube with saline pulse, and if pumping back fails, thrombolytic treatment can be performed; 2. In case of complete blockage, heparin or urokinase can be used to thrombolize the catheter, and negative pressure injection of hormone can also be used to flush the catheter, and extraction can be considered as appropriate after recanalization fails.
