There are many ways to classify shock, one is etiologic classification and the other is hemodynamic classification. The etiological classification is divided into cardiogenic shock, infectious shock, hypovolemic shock, traumatic shock, hemorrhagic shock, anaphylactic shock, etc. Currently, the hemodynamic classification is preferred. Hemodynamic blood classification is divided into four main categories, including infectious shock, obstructive shock, hypovolemic shock, and cardiogenic shock. Shock, regardless of how it is classified, has common clinical manifestations: First, hypotension, which can be diagnosed if the mean pulse pressure is less than 65 mmHg, or if the blood pressure drops 40 mmHg from baseline levels. Second, there can also be pallor, wet and cold extremities, cold sweats, little urination, mental excitement or coma. The late stage of shock may also show skin cyanosis, renal failure, coma and other manifestations.
