Symptoms of unclean medical abortion

For women who are pregnant and do not want to have children, if they are afraid that abortion will cause too many complications and the menopause is within 49 days, they can often consider a medication abortion to terminate the pregnancy. However, medical abortion is actually a kind of incomplete abortion. After the fetal sac is expelled, the meconium needs to be expelled slowly (in abortion, the fetal sac and most of the meconium are removed during the surgery), and it takes about 14-18 days to be expelled, during which the medical abortion may fail due to various reasons, and may even cause the meconium and blood clots to remain in the uterine cavity after the sac is expelled. The abortion is not clean. The most common symptom of an incomplete medical abortion is obvious vaginal bleeding after the discharge of the pregnancy capsule, and the amount of vaginal bleeding is usually more, and the bleeding time will be prolonged, often 14 days after the medical abortion, there is still intermittent blood or blood clots from the vagina, and there may also be pain in the lower abdomen and other discomfort during the process. Therefore, for women after a medical abortion, it is recommended to routinely review the ultrasound half a month after the medical abortion to confirm whether there is a problem of incomplete medical abortion. If the residue is less than 1.5 centimeters and is still in the lower part of the uterine cavity, medication can usually be used to help expel the residue. There are also cases of sudden heavy vaginal bleeding, and if this occurs, you need to see an emergency doctor immediately, with the possibility of emergency curettage. Therefore, although medication abortion is a convenient and safe way of abortion, there is a 10% chance of incomplete abortion and prompt medical attention is needed.
