How to prevent aplastic anemia

Recurrent disease is difficult to treat and has a poor prognosis, and it is important to prevent the development of this disease. For secondary patients, the key is to eliminate the cause of reoccurrence. Viral infections are closely related to the development of reoccurrence, the most common being hepatitis virus. Most of the reoccurrence is secondary to non-A, non-B hepatitis and is not associated with hepatitis A. It is found that some patients with reoccurrence have a history of cold before the onset of reoccurrence, which means that some reoccurrence can be secondary to common cold. Strengthen physical exercise, pay attention to diet and hygiene, adjust the will, maintain a relaxed mood, combine work and rest, strengthen the body’s resistance, and prevent infection secondary to reoccurrence. Radiation workers must strictly follow the operating procedures and strengthen protection. Patients should reduce the number of diagnostic radiological treatments as much as possible to avoid excessive exposure. Chemical substances, especially drugs, are the most common factors leading to reoccurrence, so attention must be paid to the rational use of drugs. Avoid the application of chloramphenicol, antipyretic and analgesic agents, etc. as much as possible. Avoid exposure to harmful chemicals such as benzene. Patients should build up the confidence to insist on long-term treatment to overcome the disease and get cured, keep a relaxed mood and take medication on time. Pay attention to personal hygiene, play tai chi and practice qigong to enhance physical fitness and prevent colds and various infections. Pay attention to the combination of work and rest, participate in outdoor activities, contact with sufficient sunlight, breathe fresh air, refrain from sexual intercourse, quit smoking and alcohol, and avoid the application of drugs that inhibit the bone marrow. Prevent accidents, especially pay attention to the protection of the head and avoid trauma, which may cause serious internal bleeding. Pay attention to diet and nutrition, eat an easy-to-digest, high-protein, high-vitamin, low-fat diet, and eat more turtle soup and pork ribs soup. For those with bleeding tendency, eat a semi-liquid diet without residue. The air in the patient’s room or ward should be fresh, sunny, and regularly disinfected with ultraviolet light.
