Do not treat “gallstones” as “stomach disease” to treat

As gallbladder stones mostly manifest as vague pain and discomfort in the upper abdomen or right upper abdomen, fullness, accompanied by belching, acid reflux, erratic and other gastrointestinal symptoms such as indigestion, often mistaken for “gastric disease”, using a lot of stomach medicine, but not effective, this time must pay attention to check your gallbladder, ultrasound is your first choice! The “stomach disease” manifested by gallbladder stones is often characterized by pain in the right upper abdomen, aggravated or induced by eating greasy food or drinking alcohol, and in the long run, slowly and unintentionally appearing to be averse to greasy food eating habits, while having radiating pain in the scapula and back. In contrast, true gastroparesis is often relieved by abdominal discomfort and pain after eating, and without radiating pain. In addition, many clinicians in outpatient clinics tend to focus on the diagnosis of “gastric disease” because of the limitations of their specialties and because they are induced by the patient’s complaints, and because the results of gastroscopy usually indicate superficial gastritis, they treat “gastric disease” without thinking about it. In fact, patients with gallbladder stones and cholecystitis have varying degrees of bile reflux gastritis, and only the conclusion of gastroscopy is not enough.
