Can acute appendicitis be cured by infusion?

Conservative anti-infection infusion therapy can provide some relief and treatment for acute appendicitis, but several problems can occur during the treatment process: 1) prolonging the course of the disease and the possibility of forming chronic appendicitis; 2) irregular use of antibiotics can lead to drug resistance; 3) even if cured, there is a possibility of recurrence. Therefore, during the treatment of early appendicitis, we try to choose and recommend surgery for appendicitis, which can play a radical role. Anti-infective infusion therapy is the best treatment only in end-stage appendicitis, such as when a periappendiceal abscess is formed. Waiting for a period of 3 months to 6 months before having surgery to remove the appendix for a radical cure.
