How to Measure Maximum Heart Rate

Clinically, there is no such thing as how to measure the maximum heart rate. It is suggested that the heart rate can be measured by counting the pulse, doing electrocardiogram and auscultation with a stethoscope. 1. Counting pulse: usually you can touch the radial artery of your right hand with your left hand and count the number of pulse beats, generally the number of pulse beats is the number of heart rate. 2. Electrocardiogram (ECG): ECG can clearly show the number of heartbeats per minute. For people with abnormal heart rates, an ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) can also be done to determine whether the heart rate is normal. 3. Auscultation with a stethoscope: If you want to clarify the heart rate, you can also use a stethoscope to put it on the heart area to auscultate the frequency of the heartbeat. Generally speaking, the normal heart rate is 60-100 beats per minute. If the heart rate is more than 100 beats per minute, it will be considered as tachycardia. If the heart rate is lower than 100 beats per minute, bradycardia is considered. In addition, the heart rate should be measured to maintain a stable mood, to avoid emotional excitement, and need to rest for 5 minutes before measurement before measurement.
