The lack of milk and also the constant overflow of milk may be caused by irregular milk secretion, the relaxation of the milk ducts, the imperfect ability of the mammary glands to close, and so on.
1. Irregular milk secretion: When the milk is first secreted, there is no time rhythm, so the amount of secretion is small, but the milk will still be discharged unconsciously.
2. Laxity of the milk ducts: After giving birth, the patient’s breast tissue will secrete milk, which will flow out through the milk ducts when the child suckles. If the ducts are loose, the milk will flow out of the ducts on its own, resulting in insufficient milk and constant overflow.
3. Imperfect closure of mammary glands: After the patient has just given birth, the mammary glands start to open, and then the closure of mammary glands is imperfect, resulting in insufficient milk and old overflow.
The patient usually pay attention to rest, reasonable diet, eat soup with high nutritional value, help lactation. When the milk is not enough, we recommend that the patient go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to avoid adverse effects.
