Amoxicillin granules dosage

Amoxicillin granules are effective in the treatment of typhoid fever, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, and reproductive tract infections caused by sensitive bacteria, and non-β-lactamase-producing strains of bacteria. The dosage is mainly for pediatrics, generally the daily dose is 20-40mg/kg of body weight, every 8 hours. Neonates and preterm infants are given 50mg per oral dose. infants under 3 months of age are given a one-day dose of 30mg/kg of body weight every 12 hours. The reference dosage of Amoxicillin Granules for children is 0.125g per sachet. up to 1 year of age: half sachet, 1-3 years of age: 1 sachet, 3-5 years of age: 1.5 sachets, 5-10 years of age: 2 sachets, and above 10 years of age: 2-3 sachets, and the daily dosage is 3 times a day. For adults, it is 4 sachets at a time, every 6-8 hours, the daily dose does not exceed 4g, or 32 sachets.
