Allergic rhinitis must be borne in mind when spring flowers are in full bloom

In March, everything sprouts, getting rid of a winter of cold and sluggishness, babies and mothers can’t wait to enjoy this thriving bright spring, fragrant flowers, fresh air …… but there are some people who suffer from this, that is, the plague of seasonal allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis, also known as allergic rhinitis, is an allergic disease of the nasal mucosa and can cause a variety of complications. Symptoms of allergic rhinitis: sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose and nasal congestion are the four most common symptoms, and in severe cases, itchy eyes and itchy ears can occur. Why do babies have more allergies in spring? As everything revives in spring, the temperature and humidity increase, and the air is filled with many substances such as pollen, dust mites, dust, fungi, animal fur, feathers, etc. These are allergens that can cause allergies in humans. For example, poplar and willow trees and some shrubs begin to scatter pollen, and there are more than 100 kinds of plant pollen that can cause allergies. But for most people, the most dangerous thing about spring allergic rhinitis is that it is difficult to recognize because it is very similar to the common cold.
Many people often think of allergic rhinitis as a cold at the beginning of the illness and take anti-cold medication on their own or go to other departments without getting the right treatment in time. Allergic rhinitis not only seriously affects normal life and work, reducing the quality of life, but if treatment is delayed or improperly treated, it may also induce a variety of comorbidities, the most common being bronchial asthma, and in some cases, sinusitis, otitis media, allergic pharyngitis, etc. Therefore, allergic rhinitis should not be ignored and must be prevented and treated early. The goal of treatment of allergic rhinitis is to minimize allergic inflammation and maintain a state of minimal inflammatory persistence, so that the least discomfort occurs and the least possibility of complications occurs. Treatment of allergic rhinitis includes immunotherapy and medication. To stay away from allergic rhinitis in the long term, eliminating allergens from the surrounding environment is the cure. However, our living environment is not a vacuum, so medication can largely reduce the discomfort of allergic rhinitis when exposure to allergens cannot be avoided, and surgery can be used to improve nasal ventilation and drainage and reduce the inflammatory response when medication is not effective or is associated with abnormal nasal anatomy. How to prevent allergic rhinitis in spring? The most important prevention of allergic rhinitis is to know the substance that causes your allergy, i.e. the allergen, and try to avoid it.
1.When the symptoms occur mainly outdoors, you should limit outdoor activities as much as possible, especially contact with flowers or decaying leaves, as well as willow wool from various trees and scattered pollen and fruit hairs, etc. Try to wear a mask when you go out.
2, when the symptoms occur mainly indoors, you can pay attention to the following points: a, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, prevent cold, strengthen exercise, and maintain a good mental state; b, control the occurrence of indoor mold and mildew. Mold can release spores and thus cause allergy symptoms, which are widely present in all corners of people’s lives, especially in wet environments, such as basements and bathrooms, and general sources of mold include household humidifiers, bathtubs, wet blankets, showers, flowers, old newspapers, garbage bins, etc.; c. Since cockroach excrement is the most common allergen, cockroaches and other pests need to be thoroughly killed; d. Animal dander, the Saliva and urine proteins are prone to allergic symptoms, when invisible proteins can enter a person’s eyes or lungs and nasal cavity through the air, so stay away from pets.
