How to do a bulge on the heel of the foot

A bulge in the heel of the foot, generally speaking, depending on the nature of the mass, different clinical management methods can be adopted. One, if the local bulge is a tendon sheath cyst, at this time the bulge is small in size and does not cause obvious pain and pressure symptoms, the patient can be advised to observe closely and no special treatment is needed for the time being. If the bulge is larger in size, but there is localized pain or the patient repeatedly rubs it and worries about the rupture of the mass, a complete surgical excision can be considered. Avoid causing residual of the wall of the bulge during surgery to avoid causing recurrent tendon sheath cysts. Second, if the heel bulge is caused by bone tumor, patients need to improve local CT or MRI examination as soon as possible. After confirming the nature of the lesion, complete resection of the bone tumor should be performed as far as possible. After the surgery, combine with systemic chemotherapy and local radiotherapy. After surgery, systemic chemotherapy and local radiotherapy can be combined to kill the tumor cells in the body and prolong the patient’s life.
