How to Relieve Sore Biceps in Arms

Biceps soreness in the arm may be caused by lactic acid accumulation, trauma, frozen shoulder, which can be handled by physical therapy, medication and surgery according to the cause.
1. Lactic acid accumulation: After long time labor or strenuous exercise, a large amount of lactic acid is produced and accumulated in the biceps, which can cause arm biceps pain. You can promote local blood circulation through hot compresses, massage and other physical methods to accelerate the dissolution of lactic acid and relieve the symptoms of soreness.
2. Trauma: When the biceps is hit by external impact, biceps soreness may occur. If there are no symptoms other than soreness, you can apply heat or massage. For more severe pain, pain relievers such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen may be prescribed. If there is an open wound, the wound needs to be cleaned and disinfected in a timely manner.
3. Frozen shoulder: At the beginning, only shoulder pain is felt, aggravated by activities, and with the development of the disease, the pain can spread to the front and outside of the shoulder and arm muscles. Ibuprofen, acetaminophen and other drugs can be used. For those who have no obvious effect of conservative treatment, surgical treatment is needed. At present, common clinical surgical methods include hydrodilatation and arthroscopic shoulder joint release.
Biceps soreness caused by lactic acid buildup is usually relieved by rest, massage, and warm compresses. If the soreness cannot be relieved on its own or other uncomfortable symptoms appear, you need to go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, do not take medication without authorization.
