Acetaminophen Tablets Actions

Acetaminophen tablets are indicated for fever caused by the common cold or influenza, and are also used for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, joint pain, migraines, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, and menstrual cramps.
Acetaminophen works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which results in antipyretic and analgesic effects.
Rash, pruritus, urticaria, thrombocytopenia, angioedema, edema of the throat and face, and mouth ulcers may occur after use of this product, and abnormalities of liver and kidney function may occur with prolonged heavy use. Allergic to aspirin, maternal caution, severe hepatic and renal insufficiency is prohibited.
