What should I do if I am born with swollen eyes?

Beautiful eyes can make a lasting impression and can also highlight a person’s mental state. Swollen eyes, on the other hand, always make a person look uninspired and can even drag down one’s face value. What are swollen eyes? Swollen eyes are also called blister eyes and flesh eyes. In the anatomy of the eye, there is a tissue called the orbital septum, which is a thin layer of tissue connected between the lid plate and the orbital rim of the eye, and serves to separate the eyelid from the orbit. Swollen eyes are caused by the thick fat in the middle and inner septum. There are two types of swollen eyes, one is congenital and often has a family history of inheritance; the other is acquired, due to aging, the orbital septum is loosened, intraorbital fat protrudes or the tear gland sags, the upper eyelid appears bloated, fat, and in severe cases, the outer eye area shows a puffy cornea-like sagging, making the eye shape like a triangle eye, and the eye fissure becomes smaller. Depending on the formation of bulbous eyes, different surgical procedures can be chosen, whether it is congenital “blister eyes” or acquired orbital septum laxity, and can be corrected through surgical methods, and can be performed simultaneously with double eyelid surgery to remove the fat globules and reset the fixed tear glands, so that the shape of the eyes can be ideally improved. Eye liposuction procedure: If you have a fatty type of swollen eyes, you can get rid of the swollen eyes by removing the excess fat from the upper lid. However, if there is hypertrophy of the eye lid muscle, then surgery is required to treat the swollen eye bubble by cutting open the skin of the upper lid and removing both the fat and the hypertrophy of the eye lid muscle under visualization. The most popular method of blepharoplasty: the incision method is basically suitable for all age groups and has the longest post-operative maintenance time. It is suitable for people with single eyelids, lax upper eyelid skin, asymmetry, excess fat, and all types of eyelids commonly known as “swollen eyes” and “bubble eyes”. What do I need to pay attention to before surgery? If you have acute or chronic inflammation, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, or wheals, you should not operate until the inflammation is under control. Antibiotic eye drops should be started 3 days before surgery according to medical prescription, 4 times a day. The surgical plan should be made according to the patient’s eyelid thickness and the presence of canthus. How should I take care of my eyes after surgery?
