Loplatin is more effective than cisplatin and has relatively few nephrotoxic side effects, but is more expensive. Compared with cisplatin, loplatin has a stronger tumor-suppressive effect, especially on cisplatin-resistant cancer cells, and loplatin also has a certain cytotoxic effect. Currently, clinical chemotherapy with Loplatin is indicated for the following diseases: small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, chronic granulocytic leukemia, ovarian cancer, etc. Adverse reactions mainly include: 1) hematotoxicity, among which platelet damage is the most obvious; 2) bone marrow suppression; 3) gastrointestinal reactions, which may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.
