In scoliosis correction, the ideal internal fixation is one that provides strong internal fixation, optimal orthopedic results while minimizing the number of fused segments and achieving three-dimensional spinal orthopedics. Pedicle screws are increasingly used in scoliosis orthopedics because of their higher pullout strength, better deformity correction, and better sagittal curve restoration compared to pedicle hooks and pedicle hooks. The use of total pedicle screw technology for the treatment of idiopathic scoliosis with strong internal fixation and orthopedic force, good orthopedic and not easy to lose, can be early out of bed activities, in the international application more and more widely, and achieved good clinical results. However, the application of internal fixation materials is more, and the corresponding treatment cost is higher.
