Eating patterns after colonoscopic anesthesia

There are two ways to eat after anesthesia for enteroscopy, one is simple examination under anesthesia, generally after the recovery of anesthesia for surgery, you can eat some fluid food directly; the second is that the resection operation needs strict fasting, and then gradually return to normal diet. 1. Simple examination without related operation: if a simple colonoscopy of a probe, without resection operation of the patient, you can start to eat a small amount of fluid or semi-fluid food after the recovery of anesthesia, such as no abdominal distension and other discomforts, anal defecation and other conditions, can be changed to a normal diet. 2. Taking biopsy or cutting polyps: patients who have taken biopsy and removed polyps need to fast strictly after the operation, and prohibit eating and drinking before anal defecation. After anal defecation, patients can start to eat a small amount of liquid diet for 1 to 2 days, and if there is no discomfort, the diet can be gradually changed to semi-liquid diet until normal diet.
