Laparoscopic surgery, commonly known as “keyhole” surgery, is safe, minimally invasive and has a rapid recovery. The most advanced method for patients with various types of hernias is minimally invasive-laparoscopic hernia repair. This method is the inevitable trend of current surgical development. 1. Good cosmetic effect, the abdominal incision is only two 0.5 cm and one 1 cm large small hole, and bleeding is only 5-10 ml. There is almost no scar after surgery, less foreign body feeling at the incision after surgery, and lower recurrence rate. 2. Laparoscopy can detect contralateral occult hernia that cannot be detected by traditional surgery, and complete surgical treatment of occult hernia at the same time without adding any incision, avoiding the pain of reopening. The postoperative pain is light and can be discharged in about 3-4 days. 3. The lumpectomy has its unique advantages in the treatment of patients with bilateral inguinal hernia and recurrent hernia. In recurrent hernias, the possibility of damaging the spermatic cord and nerves is reduced because the incision is not entered through the original incision, and the recurrence rate is very low. In addition, we use small incision-assisted, laparoscopic techniques to treat various abdominal wall hernias such as incisional hernia, white line hernia, pelvic floor hernia, etc., with good treatment results. In particular, laparoscopic parastomal hernia repair is performed. Parastomal hernia is a common complication after permanent stoma surgery, with an incidence of up to 50%. Previously, the recurrence rate of open surgery was high, while laparoscopy preserves the strength of the original hernia ring to the maximum extent, the repair effect is exact, and the recurrence rate is greatly reduced.
