A high absolute neutrophil count may be due to physiologic causes, pathologic causes such as infectious diseases, hematologic disorders, and so on. High absolute neutrophil value indicates that peripheral blood routine test shows neutrophilia. 1. Physiological causes: such as after strenuous exercise, after labor, after a full meal, after a shower, in the late stage of pregnancy and childbirth, in a hot or cold environment, can lead to an increase in the absolute value of neutrophils; when the body is in pain or in a state of stress, it can also lead to an increase in the absolute value of neutrophils, but the magnitude of increase will not be too large, and it is a temporary increase. 2. Pathological factors: infectious diseases, mainly bacterial or mycoplasma and other pathogenic bacteria infections, such as urinary tract infections. Poisoning, hemorrhage, trauma surgery, acute myocardial infarction, extensive burns or intravascular hemolysis, as well as acute myeloid leukemia, chronic granulocytic leukemia and other malignant diseases of the blood system can also lead to an increase in the absolute value of neutrophils. High absolute neutrophil values can also be seen in other diseases, and patients are advised to seek medical treatment in time to avoid delaying their condition.
