What happens when idiopathic tremor is treated as Parkinson’s disease?

There are some patients with body tremors in their lives who are often misdiagnosed and mistreated as Parkinson’s disease, but tremors are not necessarily Parkinson’s disease. There are many diseases that can cause body tremors and need to be identified, including a disease called idiopathic tremor, which is also highly prevalent in middle-aged and elderly people with hand tremor symptoms and is particularly easy to be misunderstood as Parkinson’s disease. What is idiopathic tremor? Idiopathic tremor also belongs to an extrapyramidal disease, the cause and pathogenesis of which are still unknown, and about one-third of patients have a family history of the disease. The main symptoms are postural and motor tremors of the hands, head, and other parts of the body, aggravated by concentration, stress, fatigue, and hunger. The disease also differs from Parkinson’s disease in terms of treatment. So what happens when idiopathic tremor is treated as Parkinson’s disease? Let’s follow Professor Wang’s summary to know more about it.
