The clinical application of Gui Zhi Tang to treat allergic rhinitis may be effective for some patients. Gui Zhi Tang is mainly composed of seven herbal ingredients such as cinnamon stick, ginger, jujube and cicada, etc. Decocted with water and taken once a day, generally for about seven days, some patients have reduced symptoms of allergic rhinitis, manifested as some manifestations related to reduced sneezing, reduced nasal itching, reduced nasal congestion, reduced nasal discharge and possible recovery of smell. Clinically, for some patients with allergic rhinitis, the application of Gui Zhi Tang treatment may have certain effect, but the allergens of each patient with allergic rhinitis are different, and the allergic constitution and physical quality of each patient are different, so the use of Gui Zhi Tang to treat allergic rhinitis may not be effective for all patients. Clinically, for patients with allergic rhinitis, if the application of Gui Zhi Tang is not effective, it is recommended that the patient should go to an ENT clinic and have a professional doctor apply some nasal spray hormone and antihistamine nasal spray, oral antihistamine and leukotriene receptor antagonist drugs for a comprehensive symptomatic treatment, so that the effect may be more satisfactory.
