If the patient has persistent vertigo, it should be considered as posterior circulation ischemia, Meniere’s disease, vestibular paroxysm, or vestibular neuronitis, and the patient should immediately go to the hospital for transcranial Doppler and head CT examination. If posterior circulation ischemia is considered to be the cause, the patient should be given medications to improve blood supply to the brain and improve the symptoms of dizziness.
