How do mandibular cysts form?

There are several types of mandibular cysts, but the more common types are usually caused by multiple teeth, wisdom teeth or periapical inflammation. The causes of mandibular cysts caused by multiple teeth and wisdom teeth are basically similar, as the teeth are not able to erupt completely, thus causing the tooth capsule around the tooth to further expand to form a local cyst, which will have teeth called tooth-containing cysts, cysts are generally more common in the upper jaw, and sometimes occur in the lower jaw. There is also an apical cyst, which is an inflammation of the root tip of a tooth in the lower jaw, which further develops into an apical granuloma, an apical cyst, and further expansion may form an apical cyst of multiple roots.
