Dozens of farts a day are not normal. This is a sign of health problems in the human body, such as constipation, catching a cold, swallowing too much air, stomach diseases, and dietary factors, which can lead to a large number of farts. Under normal circumstances, there are about 150-200ml of gas in the human digestive tract. The gas is discharged either from the mouth, i.e. burping, or from the anus, i.e. anal exhaust, also called farting. Under a normal diet, the average person will fart 10-18 times a day, consciously or unconsciously, with a total exhaust volume of about 400-2400ml, sometimes even unconsciously. If a person does not fart or farts all day long, it may indicate that there is something wrong with the body. If there is no fart, no bowel movement and no abdominal pain for several days in a row, it is often a manifestation of intestinal obstruction; if the sound of farting does not stop, it may be related to indigestion or eating too much meat. If the fart sounds like thunder but does not stink, it is mostly due to eating too much starchy food. In daily life, you should be careful not to eat too fast or too quickly to avoid swallowing too much air, which may lead to increased exhaust.
