Are all chest pains angina?

Every time in the clinic, one of the most common scenarios is when a patient walks into the clinic with a painful and nervous expression and says to me, “Doctor, am I having angina pectoris? I have chest pains. ……” When it comes to “angina”, I believe that every modern person is not unfamiliar with it, which is a type of coronary heart disease and one of the most prevalent diseases in today’s society. With the popularization of health knowledge in recent years, more and more people pay attention to this disease, when there is pain in the anterior chest area, many people will self-diagnose as “angina”, however, not all chest pain is angina. So what are the symptoms of typical angina? Today, let’s listen to what the heart itself says: Hello, I am the symbol of loyalty and love – the heart, you humans will always compare me to a never-ending pump, a constant supply of blood to all organs of the body, you know I also need a sufficient supply of blood and oxygen, and for my blood supply of arteries, that is The arteries that supply me with blood are the coronary arteries that travel on the surface of the heart muscle, which can also be referred to as the coronary arteries. The coronary arteries nourish the heart muscle, just like the river water irrigates the wheat seedlings, when the water volume decreases, the wheat seedlings will face the risk of withering, and those dry land is not as if on behalf of the wheat seedlings to send a distress signal ah! If this happens to my heart, what would it be like? I think it’s awesome that you humans have a saying that when angina occurs, the heart temporarily can’t get enough blood, so I will send out a cry for help in the form of pain, so that you can walk slower or calm down. Now you know, angina, that is I am sending out a signal to you guys for help ah. What exactly would this signal from me be to whoever and under what circumstances, where would you feel the pain and how would you relieve it? Are you curious to know? First of all, let me tell you to listen to what people are most prone to angina — what people are prone to angina? Those who are often angry men are difficult to avoid, or those who eat lazy fat, and blood pressure, blood lipids, blood sugar, and those who smoke, yes, and the old man, these are the high incidence of people oh. It seems that God favors women in this disease, and indeed he does, but when women reach the age of square dancing, the incidence of the older women is similar to that of men. So when do I send a signal? When the coronary arteries are not supplying enough blood to me, so when the patient is running and freaking out, oh, I can’t run with you, humans! Where would I signal? Of course it’s my place, ah, the heart knows where it is, right, so the most typical painful part of angina is here – the lower middle part of the sternum. What kind of signal is it? Usually patients will describe it as a crushing feeling of the chest being squeezed back and forth, or a constricting feeling of the chest being tightly strangled by a rope, or a feeling of pressure like a thousand pounds of weight on the chest …… Yes, these are the typical signals I send out, angina is not necessarily pain (the important thing to say three times), but a movement is the most terrible boredom, because, I am sick. I’m crying out for help! What about the deterrent effect of the signal? Speaking of the deterrent effect of my signal, hey, different people have different tolerance to pain, so different patients will feel different severity of angina attack; in general, I am still much more gentle than my big brother “myocardial infarction”, will make you feel a mild to moderate discomfort, rarely to sweating, near death, painful degree. How long does it last? Usually lasts only 3-5 minutes, not more than 15 minutes, which I think is enough time for you humans to pay attention to me! But if the chest pain is very long or extremely short, please, think about the signs of their disease. How can I be rescued? Well, don’t run, brother, rest and calm down. Of course a little first aid medicine would be nice. Remember to always use nitroglycerin! Because only this drug can be taken sublingually into the blood quickly, so that I will not be in pain within 1-2 minutes, so listen to Dr. White, she will recommend nitroglycerin as angina patients always have emergency medicine ah! These are all my personal pains, you must remember oh. Listen to the “heart” talk so many personal pain, now you understand angina, in fact, the onset of angina, is the heart has occurred myocardial ischemia, it is sending you a distress signal ah, so when similar symptoms occur, please go to the hospital as soon as possible to receive medical treatment by cardiologists, to avoid malignant heart events.
