Asymptomatic gallbladder polyps with sedimentary stones are two common disorders of the biliary system, and they are usually related. 1. Gallbladder polyp is a general term for polypoid lesions in which the wall of the gallbladder protrudes into the lumen, often in the form of a hemispherical or spherical shape, which is mostly benign, but if accompanied by gallbladder stones, thickening of the wall of the gallbladder, short-term polyp growth, or if cancer cannot be ruled out, timely surgical intervention is needed. 2. Gallbladder sediment-like stones, mostly due to abnormal metabolism of cholesterol and bile pigment, may be associated with long-term fasting, hemolysis, biliary tract infections and other diseases, which are more likely to cause biliary colic, biliary pancreatitis and other diseases. The absence of symptoms of these two diseases means that gallbladder polyps and morus-like stones have not yet led to the appearance of accompanying symptoms, which does not mean that there is no lesion at all, and close follow-up is needed, and surgical treatment is performed when necessary.
