How does group cognitive therapy improve generalized anxiety disorder patients?

  Generalized Anxiety Disorder Patient Recruitment Notice Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), abbreviated as generalized anxiety disorder, is a chronic anxiety disorder characterized by persistent and significant tension and uneasiness, accompanied by excitation of autonomic functions and hypervigilance, and is the most common type of anxiety disorder. It is a disorder that seriously affects work, school and life, has a high prevalence and is one of the common mental disorders. In order to provide the best treatment plan for generalized anxiety disorder, the Department of Clinical Psychology at PKUH VI is conducting a study on generalized anxiety disorder. Interested parties are welcome to make inquiries. We will be happy to help you in the best way possible.   You can sign up to join us if you meet the following criteria: 1. 18-65 years old, regardless of gender; 2. Meet the DSM-IV Generalized Anxiety Disorder diagnostic criteria (300.02); 3. Hamilton Anxiety Inventory (HAMA) score ≥ 14; 4. Be able to understand and complete all elements of the treatment, without verbal communication impairment.  Patients with a previous or current DSM-IV diagnosis of a psychiatric disorder such as organic psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, or other types of anxiety disorders; 2. Alcohol or substance abuse within the past 12 months; 3. Severe suicidal ideation; 4. Current participation in other psychotherapy study.
