The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is the key department of Beijing Yanhua Hospital. The Department of Cardiology currently has 56 beds, including 10 intensive care beds in the CCU. The department has a medical and nursing team with strong technical strength and rich experience in diagnosis and treatment and nursing care, there are 3 chief physicians, 2 deputy chief physicians, 4 attending physicians and 5 resident physicians. There are 2 nurse practitioners in charge, 8 nurse practitioners and 11 nurses. The department has advanced equipment such as large C-arm angiography machine and DSA subtraction system from Toshiba, Japan; Medtronic temporary pacemaker, ARROW aortic balloon counterpulsator, wireless remote control ECG monitor, etc. Interventional therapy is the advantage and characteristic project of the Department of Cardiology. This technique is characterized by less damage and less patient pain. With this technology, diagnosis, balloon dilation and stent implantation of various complex coronary diseases can be skillfully performed, as well as diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular diseases, electrophysiological examination and radiofrequency ablation of complex arrhythmias, balloon dilation of rheumatic heart disease, umbrella blocking of congenital heart disease, stent treatment of aortic coarctation aneurysm, implantation of inferior vena cava filter, implantation of temporary and permanent cardiac pacemakers, etc. A number of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic measures are available. The Department of Cardiology of Yanhua Hospital ranks among the advanced level in the same industry in terms of coronary interventional technology, and is the first to open a “green channel for emergency interventional treatment of acute myocardial infarction” in southwest Beijing to serve patients around the clock.
