2. Gui Fu Di Huang Wan is composed of Cinnamon, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Mudan Pi, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Rhizoma Dioscoreae Praeparata, Poria, and Zedoaria. It has the effect of warming and tonifying kidney yang.
It is clinically used for phlegm (pathological product formed by impaired water-liquid metabolism) wheezing and coughing with insufficient kidney yang, dysuria (unruly urination) or regurgitation, and soreness and coldness of the waist and knees.
Adverse reactions and contraindications of Guolu Erjiao Pills are not clear, use with caution when having a cold. Adverse effects of Guolu Erjiao Pills are unclear, and should not be taken by patients with colds and fever, not suitable for those with Yin deficiency and internal heat, and should not be taken at the same time with erythrocyanol or its preparations.
