It is often seen in women who have given birth several times or in older women, and may be caused by natural relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy or age swelling, leading to prolapse of the pelvic floor organs, which can occur under abdominal exertion, such as loud coughing or jumping and other movements, without any symptoms such as abnormal urination, and the diagnosis needs to be confirmed by functional examination of the pelvic floor muscles and urodynamic examination. Second, there is a neurogenic bladder, when a neurological lesion occurs, and the nerves that innervate the bladder feel abnormal, there can be a large filling of the bladder, and then involuntary urine leakage can occur. Common diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage, sequelae of cerebral infarction, spinal cord injury or type 2 diabetes can lead to dysfunction of the sensory or motor nerves that innervate the bladder, and the corresponding symptoms of urinary leakage can occur, and further neurological examinations are needed to confirm the diagnosis.
