Nasogastric tubes are recommended to be changed around 10 days. With pyloric obstruction, dysphagia of the esophagus, acute pancreatitis, or duodenal stenosis, nasal tube drainage and nutritional support by nasal feeding tube can be given. During nasal feeding, observe the drainage of the nasogastric tube and the degree of patency. If there is stenosis and poor drainage, it needs to be replaced promptly. In the process of nasal feeding, warm boiled water is injected first, and then food is injected, and it is recommended to give fluid and fine granular food. After injecting food, warm boiled water is then injected to prevent obstruction and blockage of the nasal feeding tube. Observe the nutritional status of the patient, and if necessary, require intravenous infusion of nutrition.
