How many days does purulent tonsillitis usually last?

Septic tonsillitis is treated by active and effective anti-infection therapy, and the general course of treatment takes about 7~10 days. 1. After the tonsils pus can follow the doctor’s advice to choose penicillin antibiotics, such as amoxicillin, etc., according to the different degrees of inflammation, you can choose oral or intravenous infusion treatment, penicillin allergy is prohibited. The penicillin allergy is contraindicated. Purulent tonsillitis should be further treated after an interview with the ENT department.
