Recognizing primary irritant urethritis

The primary irritant urethritis is an acute irritant urethritis that occurs after sex with a prostitute due to fear of repeatedly “disinfecting” one’s external genitalia afterwards, resulting in some kind of chemical solvent seeping into the urethra. The cause: 1, repeatedly scrubbing the glans and urethra with soap, so that the soapy water seeped into the urethra. 2, using liquor or some chemical “disinfectant” douche or instillation, etc. 3.The urethral irritation caused by some “antiseptic” drugs stuffed in the vagina of prostitutes. Clinical manifestations: This disease is mostly seen in men. The incubation period of other sexually transmitted diseases is not available, but it occurs within a few hours after the incident, and if some kind of antiseptic drug is inserted in the vagina of a prostitute, you will feel discomfort in the urethra afterwards. The pain in the urethra is felt during the douching process, and then frequent and painful urination occurs. In the early stage, the frequency and painful urination are obvious, and then they gradually decrease. It usually heals itself within 1 to 3 days, and occasionally lasts for 1 week. Differential diagnosis: This disease should be differentiated from gonorrhea and non-gonococcal urethritis. The disease is characterized by the absence of an incubation period, a history of flushing with certain chemicals, and negative laboratory tests. Diagnosis: The diagnosis of this disease is not difficult. However, it is very easy to give the clinician a false impression based on their unclean sexual life and the symptoms described. Considering the fact that the onset of the disease is usually within a few hours, a more careful history should be taken. Treatment: The disease does not require special treatment and can heal on its own by drinking more water. In cases of long duration of the disease, the infection may be combined with other pathogenic bacteria and should be examined for STDs.
