Pulmonary edema is caused by some causes of imbalance in the balance of lung tissue fluid production and reflux. Tissue fluid cannot be absorbed by the pulmonary lymphatic and venous systems within a short period of time and leaks out from within the pulmonary capillaries to the outside, accumulating in the alveolar pulmonary interstitium and bronchi, resulting in pulmonary ventilation and ventilatory dysfunction. There are four common symptoms of pulmonary edema as follows: 1. Cardiogenic pulmonary edema: It is a clinically common type of pulmonary edema caused by mitral stenosis or left heart failure. Patients present with dyspnea, cyanosis, coughing, coughing pink frothy sputum, lungs filled with dry rales, and a lot of wet rales at the bottom of both lungs. 2. Plateau pulmonary edema: It is a kind of pulmonary edema caused by recent arrival at plateau. Most of the patients have resting dyspnea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, mental fatigue, low appetite, chest suffocation, shortness of breath, cough, and little urination. More than half of the patients have telangiectasias, palpitations, chills, nausea, fever, vomiting and coughing up pink foamy sputum, and in critical cases, there is also a large amount of bloody foamy sputum coming out of the nose and mouth. 3, neurological pulmonary edema: also known as cerebrogenic pulmonary edema, manifested as sudden onset of dyspnea, cyanosis, trismus, cough, palpitations, and coughing up pink or white foamy sputum after acute central nervous system injury, with an early increase in blood pressure and a late decrease in blood pressure. 4.Recurrent pulmonary edema: The case is characterized by sudden onset, paroxysmal cough and sputum, chest suffocation, followed by tightness of breath, irritability, cyanosis, and coughing up more white or pink foamy sputum, and in severe cases, the patient develops coma or shock. For the treatment of pulmonary edema, the airway should be kept open to prevent lung infection, high-flow oxygen should be given in time, and symptomatic drugs should be taken according to different causes.
