STDs, also known as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), are a group of diseases that are transmitted through sexual and similar sexual acts, including oral and anal sex and cross-use of sexual instruments. Most of the STDs occur in the genital organs of the urinary tract, but there are also blood-borne diseases that can invade important tissues and organs throughout the body, including gonorrhea, syphilis, condyloma acuminatum, non-gonococcal urethritis, genital herpes, soft chancre, lymphogranuloma venereum and AIDS, which are the classic STDs according to our country’s infectious disease regulations. There are also a number of diseases that can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, including hepatitis B, pubic lice, scabies, infectious molluscum contagiosum, and trichomonas vaginalis, which can also be transmitted through sexual intercourse.
