Classification of causes of constipation and surgical treatment

Surgical interventions for constipation have been developed in the last two decades. As a result, constipation has been classified pathologically and anatomically and clinically, and strict Roman diagnostic criteria have been established. Constipation is roughly divided into three types: 1. slow transmission type. 2, difficult defecation type. 3, mixed type (both of the above). Several tests related to constipation: 1, colonic transmission experiment, the main purpose is to understand the dynamic state of the colon, the method is to eat a kind of impervious to X-ray barium strips, after the specified time to go to the X-ray film, observe the barium strips in the intestine emptying time. This method can clarify the retention time of stool in the intestine, in order to understand the intestinal dynamics. 2. Defecography or pelvic quadruple angiography. The purpose of this test is to understand why the stool is so difficult in the process of elimination, the structure of the pelvis and the movement status of each muscle group, etc.
