Can Hepatitis B Core Antibody Positive Be Converted

Hepatitis B core antibody positivity is usually not reversible. Hepatitis B core antibodies are an important indicator for performing serologic testing for the hepatitis B virus, and if you are infected with the hepatitis B virus, you will develop positive core antibodies in about six weeks. When hepatitis B core antibody is positive, if the level of IgM antibody is low, it means that the patient has been infected with the hepatitis B virus, which has been cleared but has not produced protective surface antibodies, and if the level of IgM antibody is high, it means that the hepatitis B virus exists in the body and antiviral treatment is needed. Once hepatitis B core antibodies appear, they are likely to remain positive or weakly positive for a relatively long period of time, and are usually difficult to turn negative even after the virus has been completely cleared. Simple hepatitis B core antibody positivity is not contagious and does not require special treatment.
