Peripheral lung cancer is not the most serious type of lung cancer. Whether the disease is serious or not needs to be determined by the degree of differentiation and stage.
Peripheral lung cancer refers to lung cancer that occurs below the third degree bronchus and above the respiratory bronchioles, and the severity of lung cancer is determined according to the stage and pathologic type of lung cancer. Without knowing the type and stage, there is no way to say that peripheral lung cancer is the most serious type of lung cancer.
If peripheral lung cancer is in early stage and belongs to highly differentiated type, its condition is not very serious, and most of the patients can be cured and recovered after timely radical surgery; if it is low-differentiated and advanced peripheral lung cancer, its condition is more serious, and it is difficult to be cured completely.
